It was my first time, a time that began like this,
Everything I did, I did it at my own risk.
From five it led to ten, after ten times got stronger,
Until I couldn’t cope any longer.
The voices they defame,
My character they blame,
No matter what they do,
They take over you,
Controlling your every move,
Leaving you in pieces, with everything to lose.
You lay there with your eyes open and shut, feeling a pain with a sense of touch,
But can’t speak because it hurts so much.
Your heart begins to give way, the rude awakening with the shock of pressure,
Tries to bring you back as your heartbeats get lesser,
And so when you come around,
And you hear a sound,
The sound that speaks to you:
‘I love you so much, I’m so glad you are safe,
Don’t ever do this, don’t ever repeat this mistake.’
