Poems

Dear Papa

Dear Papa
My father, my papa, my everything,
How do I thank you?
From where do I begin?
You gave us a purpose in life,
You taught us how to fight and win,
With every challenging moment, no matter how grim.
Your smile was my strength in the deepness of my flaws,
Your voice was the singing whispers of the oceans’ shores.
Although you’re in heaven, looking down at me,
I want you to know,
My love for you is as deep as it could go,
With every second of my life, it continues to grow.
Keep blessing me as long as I shall live.
Please, Papa,
If I let you down,
Find it in your heart to forgive.
